So the good folks at Bewildering Stories have seen fit to publish another of my magnificent stories! This time it is a chilling and strange tale (dare I say BEWILDERING?) about a forlorn and legendary saloon located in the wilds of Americana, and the colorful characters that frequent said establishment…I call this tale: “A Normal Night at the Heartlands Tombstone”.
You can read this story HERE.
Not ONLY did they see fit to publish said story: but have also seen fit to bestow upon it an AWARD! The “Editor’s Choice” award to be exact. This is in fact the SECOND such story of mine to win said award, the first being “How I Became an Electric Nun” which was published by them some time ago.
If any of their ilk are reading this website I will say: THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIRS AND MADAMS! And if they are not? Well I will shout it into the ether anyway, for sometimes perhaps the ether needs to hear such things as well…
And now a quote:
“Great, big, serious novels always get awards. If it's a battle between a great, big, serious novel and a funny novel, the funny novel is doomed.” – Neil Gaiman
